National Coach Rob Vazey says all players have trained well over the past NZ training camps and it is now up to the players to shine. All sections have developed there game further and Tony Deller believes his U20 Team is ready to defend the title, as per the masters and vets Tony is also quitely confident they will take the honors.
Rob Vazey is mindful of the fact we are playing on Australian soil and that plays a major part in head space. The National team has trained well and are looking strong, but so have Australia, I believe it will come down to who wants it the most! We have won the title both times and Australia will be not wanting to lose at home, so we need to be on our game!
The U14's have trained well and are looking forward to competing, we have not seen the Australian team play so it will be interesting in the first game to see how we fit. Eitherway both teams are excited!
Tony Deller is also confident the Masters and Vets have the goods, these guys have been training with the National team and U20's pushing both teams to there best. One thing is for sure all the players have that little sparkle in there eye as to say... look out Aussie here I come!
