Day Five and Final Day in Darmstadt Germany

The NZ Team had a late start today with and we went to watch the Euro cup at 10am after the two games we then played some touch rugby and went swimming. The forwards completly smoked the backs in the touch match. We had lunch in town and then went back to the Hotel to rest for Saturdays match. Later we went to an English Bar called Cross Roads where we had a meal and then went and watched the night matches of the Euro Cup.


All the guys are still tired and are hoping to shake...

Day Three and Four in Darmstadt Germany

Day 3


Started the day with training then played the Darmstadt Old Boys in the evening. The Old boys average age is 41 and the NZ team's average age is 35. Not a lot in it really, a few of the old boys team have been in the Germany National team so they were very skillfull. The game was a freindly match and was a great fun game. The NZ team really appreciated the game and the beers after the match in the club rooms, thanks guys!!!

Day Two in Darmstadt Germany

Good Blow out for Team


The team played two games back to back today against Darmstadt and another local team, battling some jet lag and jitters the team played well with some diferent combinations and playing against a european style game, NZ had a very good blow out.


The team is in high spirit and with no injuries are looking to step it up again for tonights game against another local team tonight.

Team arrives in Germany

The team landed in Frankfurt at 6am Sunday morning and got to visit the local Team RSC- Darmstadt who were playing a 1st division match against HSV-Karfeld. The match ended with RSC winning 3-2. This was interesting to watch as both teams were playing using the new rules that come into effect from Jan 2011.


The NZ team are set to play Darmstadt on Monday night along with there second Division team, therefore two games will be played only minutes apart. So for Monday The...

NZ Champs Top Quality finals

NZ Champs Presented great quality exciting finals in all sections


Papatoetoe take two from three titles winning youth and 1st division while falling short in the final of the premier division. Wellington take final of the premier division with a huge come back from 5-0 down to win 6-5.
